4 Vtg Cook’s Hotel & Restaurant Supply 9 inch plates Jackson China blue ware NY

Regardless, these four (4) vintage “Cook’s Hotel & Restaurant Supply New York” 9 inch plates of “Jackson China” are plainly a blue-ware plate in some pattern. Plates are “identical, ” so long as we use that term loosely, since the plates vary somewhat in individual weight, from just under 22 to almost 23 1/2 ounces each! Thus, the set of 4 weighs 5 pounds 11 ounces!! Beyond this fact, plate #2 has lost the “Cook’s” name from its backstamp, and the central basket on the front of plate #4 appears to be screened slightly off-center. In addition, plate #2 is finely cracked or micro-fractured through , from front to back, out from its center in an “X” shape, yet only on its central bottom , NOT out to its perimeter. Note that plates do NOT show perimeter chips or cracks or crazing, but look fine and feel good and smooth to the fingertips. Color retention of these plates is excellent.
