AGE / DATE CODE: JULY – SEPTEMBER 1961 / 361. DESCRIPTION: This is a SCARCE to RARE porcelain sectional grill plate once used at a Howard Johnson Restaurant location! White body with a red transfer print illustration of the advance of civilization from the prairie with wagons, to frolicking on the beach and golfing in the 1950s. We discovered this plate in Nashville, Tennessee. A nice addition to your restaurant ware or diner ware collection! CONDITION DETAILS: VERY GOOD. Normal surface wear and glaze dulling. Underglaze stain on plate back at bottom. Glaze crack in well at two o’clock position. No other cracks, stains, discoloration or other damage. NOTE: INTERNATIONAL ORDERS WELCOME!
